Class 4A Lemont regional final

No. 1 Benet (20-7) vs. No. 8 Waubonsie Valley (19-9)

Outlook: Benet looked fantastic in Tuesday's blowout win over Lemont, and not just because of 6-foot-9 Xavier-bound center Sean O'Mara. The game marked Colin Bonnett's third since returning from injury, and he responded with a game-high 18 points. Now the Warriors have another perimeter threat to worry about in addition to Collin Pellettieri and others. Waubonsie Valley edged Naperville North behind a flurry of 3-pointers from Chris Karkazis and leading scorer Jay DeHaan. Six-seven Jack Cordes must stay out of foul trouble for the Warriors, who only subbed in Logan Yanisch on Tuesday. It'll be interesting to see how the Warriors defend O'Mara while paying attention to the perimeter.

Advancement: The winner advances to play the winner of the Naperville Central regional final between Hinsdale Central and Naperville Central in Tuesday's East Aurora sectional semifinals.
