Outlook: The Nets have gone 18-8 since Jan. 1 and with a win over the Bulls, could reach .500 for the first time since Nov. 5 when they were 2-2. With C Brook Lopez out for the year, SG Joe Johnson is the top scorer at 14.8 points, with PG Deron Williams at 13.9 ppg and SF Paul Pierce at 13.4. Newcomer Marcus Thornton has averaged 14.7 points in three games since arriving from the Kings. C Kevin Garnett sat out Saturday's win at Milwaukee with a sore back. The Bulls are 2-0 vs. Brooklyn this season, winning by 16 and 17 points.
