Classic Cinemas offers thanks with $5 Tuesdays

Classic Cinemas recently introduced "$5 Tuesdays," a weekday value where patrons can purchase tickets to showings at any of the listed 11 Classic Cinemas Theatres for only $5 each Tuesday. The $5 price per person includes new releases, with 3-D showings offered at an additional $2; this special program excludes special events.

"We've wanted to offer discounted admission for a while as a way to thank our guests for being so loyal to Classic Cinemas," said Chris Johnson, vice president of Classic Cinemas. "Tuesday seemed like the best day to offer the special pricing."

Typically, evening showings are pricier than matinees, but on Tuesdays, the $5 deal is available all day.

"We want to continue to offer high quality service to our guests and affirm that Classic Cinemas is our patron's hometown theater of choice," Johnson said.

This promotion does not include the Ogden or the Tivoli theaters. The Ogden Theatre is $4 all day, and the Tivoli is $4 before 6 p.m. and $5 after 6 p.m.

Main St. in St. Charles; Cinema 12 Theatre, 100 Besinger Drive in Carpentersville; Elk Grove Theatre, 1050 Elk Grove Town Center on Arlington Heights Road in Elk Grove; Fox Lake Theatre, 115 Towne Centre Lane in Fox Lake; Lake Theatre, 1022 Lake St. in downtown Oak Park; Lindo Theatre, 115 S.
