West Aurora high Class of '74 plans September reunion

The West Aurora High School Class of 1974 will hold its 40th-year class reunion Sept. 26 and 27, and is looking for all members of the class.

Activities will include Friday evening's football game, followed by an informal "welcome home" get-together. Saturday-morning tours of a West High that's much larger than when these former students attended, led by current students.

A free Saturday afternoon to explore Aurora, play golf or visit with old friends.

Saturday evening's "Reunion Celebration," from 6 p.m. to midnight at Orchards Restaurant at Orchard Valley Golf Club, 2411 W. Illinois Ave., Aurora. The evening includes buffet dinner, music and cash bar.

The reunion committee is collecting contact information on members of the Class of '74.

Anyone who is a member of the class or has contact information on a classmate is asked to email the committee at westauroraclassof1974@gmail.com, so committee members can keep everyone informed of plans and ticket sales. Those who do not have email may call (716) 713-5122.
