Wine tasting event a benefit for TriCity Family Services

TriCity Family Services has announced that "Savory Sips with TriCity Family Services" will be held Saturday, March 8.

Join the Friends of TriCity Family Services for an evening of wine tasting, light hors d'oeuvres, socializing and building community for the private, nonprofit social services organization.

This event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Wine Exchange, 1 Illinois St., St. Charles. The evening will be open house style.

The cost to attend is $25 per person in advance and $30 at the door. Cost will include one raffle ticket for the prize raffle. Additional raffle tickets will be sold at the event for $5 each or five tickets for $20. All proceeds benefit TriCity Family Services.

During the event, consider purchasing a bottle of wine at The Wine Exchange and leaving it with the Friends of TriCity Family Services. All donated bottles of wine will be used in a silent or live auction package at the annual benefit on Saturday, April 26.

The Friends of TriCity Family Services was formed in 1997 to establish a network of volunteers to support the agency in a variety of ways. The Friends step forward to fill individual client needs - baby-sitting, providing transportation, donating household items and more. The Friends also serve the agency in providing occasional office work - answering phones, bulk mailing tasks, providing a monthly day of appreciation for the staff and more.
