Outlook: The Bulls turned the tables against Golden State on Wednesday, avenging an earlier defeat. Now they'll try to do the same to the Mavs, who pounded the Bulls 105-83 at the UC on Dec. 28. The Mavericks (36-23) have won 10 of their last 12 games. Dirk Nowitzki (21.6 ppg) injured his right shoulder early in Wednesday's win over New Orleans, but returned to the game and played well. SG Monta Ellis is second on the team with 19.0 ppg, while veterans Vince Carter, Jose Calderon and Shawn Marion are averaging double figures.

Next: New York Knicks on Sunday at the United Center, noon
