Dist. 128 meeting moved due to power outage
A power outage at Vernon Hills High School caused District 128 to relocate its board meeting Monday night.
The outage, which affected the front portion of the building, pushed the meeting to the District Office Conference room, the district’s spokeswoman Mary Todoric said.
ComEd officials said workers were on the scene and that the outage affected five customers in the area, but that it was not a ComEd issue. The school’s maintenance director was also there Monday night, Todoric said. The school had a similar outage last Thursday, she said.
