Burns resigns Mt. Prospect library board

Barbara Burns has resigned from the Mount Prospect Library Board after moving out of town, the library has announced. Burns, elected in 2009 and again in 2013, will be replaced by an appointed trustee. Mount Prospect residents who want to apply should request an application and information packet from the Administration office, and returned to Library Board President John Zulaski by March 24. The appointee will hold the seat until the April 7, 2015 election. "We will miss Barbara very much. She has been a strong advocate for library services," said Executive Director Marilyn Genther. Burns joined the Friends of the Library Board in 2003, was elected to the Library Board in 2009 and again in 2013.
