Amil Alkass Named Partner at Lavelle Law, Ltd

Lavelle Law, Ltd, the nineteen attorney firm based in Palatine, IL has announced that attorney Amil Alkass has been made a partner in the firm. Alkass manages the Family Law Practice Group at the suburban firm.

Alkass, 37, joined the firm in 2007after receiving his J.D. from John Marshall Law School in Chicago. His educational background includes a B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Illinois, Chicago.

"On behalf of the other partners at Lavelle Law, Ltd, I'm very pleased to make this announcement," said Kerry Lavelle who founded the firm in 1989. "This is a well deserved acknowledgement of Amil's contributions to our continued growth and success. He has been instrumental in the development of our very successful family law practice group."

Alkass is admitted to the Bar of Illinois Supreme Court, the Federal District Court, Northern District of Illinois and holds memberships in the Illinois State, Chicago, and DuPage County Bar Associations. "I'm grateful for the confidence placed in me by Kerry and the other partners at Lavelle Law and look forward to playing a role in continuing to shape the future success of the firm," said Alkass. He is a frequent contributor the Lavelle Law's weekly podcast series "Chicago's Legal Latte" and regularly publishes articles at www.lavellelaw.com.
