SOCHI, Russia -- Kevin Reynolds' workouts are exhausting.

Not to him, perhaps, but to anyone watching his training sessions at the Sochi Olympics.

Reynolds does quadruple jumps as easily as LeBron James dunks. In Wednesday's practice, he nailed 12 of them, according to no less a source than 2010 Olympic champion Evan Lysacek. That's a season's worth of quads in competition mode for some skaters.

The 23-year-old Canadian shrugs and smiles when told how fatigued the folks in the audience at the Olympic training rink were after his practice. Just a normal day at the office for him.

"If I am in good condition, yeah, that's normal," he said of a session in which he did more than 60 revolutions on his jumps.

Reynolds isn't a likely medalist, but few of his peers can soar like him. His blond mop top makes Reynolds easily identifiable when he's not flying through the air. When the rest of his skills catch up to his jumping, Reynolds could reach another level.

Meanwhile, he keeps on quading, with a planned three in his free skate.
