Should the county board or staff, through its partnership with Lake County Partners or other groups and agencies, encourage people to get married in Lake County, as opposed to Cook County or elsewhere? Some counties in other states have launched advertising campaigns to promote their communities, for example.This matter would be best handled through the offices of the Lake County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
