U.S. bobsledder Lolo Jones fighting off cold, flu

KRASNAYA POLYANA, Russia - American bobsledder Lolo Jones has gotten ill at the Sochi Olympics.

Jones tweeted Monday that she was in a "quarantine room" in the village. U.S. bobsled spokeswoman Amanda Bird confirmed Jones exhibited cold and flu symptoms, and that the move was precautionary.

Jones was back with teammates later Monday.

"Single room was nice just wish I had one of those stray dogs to keep me company," Jones tweeted, referring to the dogs who were spotted all over the Sochi area in the days before the Olympics opened.

Jones and bobsled teammate Lauryn Williams are to become the ninth and 10th Americans to compete in both the summer and winter games. Jones is a two-time hurdler in the Summer Olympics, and will race with Jazmine Fenlator in USA-3 in Sochi.
