Mount Prospect honored its Shining Stars on Friday night at the annual Celestial Celebration banquet.

The winners were:

• Living Legend Award: Gerald "Skip" Farley

• Champion for Youth Award: John Camardella

• Good, Better, Best Neighbor Award: Ken Gordon

• Home Town Award: Joe Pentz

• Toast of the Town Award: Mount Prospect CERT Team

• Stand and Deliver Award: Keir Rogers

• Rising Star Award: Alexandra Wilson

• Unsung Hero Award: Clare Toffenetti and Mary Welk

• There Ought To Be More Like You Award: Jeff Prostko

• Volunteers Volunteer Award: Paula St. Louis and Tom Shute

• The Star Spangled Award: Jerry Clauser

• Best Business Award: Susan Dozier, American Chartered Bank
