Schaumburg police teach prevention of workplace violence

With targeted violence in the workplace on the rise, the Schaumburg Business Association, along with the Schaumburg Police Department and security risk management firm Hillard Heintze are holding a seminar to help local business leaders learn more about workplace violence, and how to prevent and plan for an incident. The free event will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Schaumburg Police Department, 1000 W. Schaumburg Road. Space is limited. Please call to reserve a seat. Contact Sgt.
