NI Lightning slates softball skills camp

The Northern Illinois Lightning Fastpitch Softball organization will host a one-day skills camp at Judson University on Sunday, April 27 for girls ages 8-14.

The camp will run from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. rain or shine.

Camp instructors include Larkin head coach and longtime area instructor Anne Vogt, Judson University head coach Becky Pearl, St. Edward head coach and Lightning 18U manager Jaci Corn and Lightning 18U assistant coach Courtney LaFerle.

Campers will receive instruction in hitting, bunting, slapping, fielding, throwing, pitching, catching and baserunning.

The cost of the camp is $100.
