St Mary School Wishes Megan Bozak and US Olympic Team Good Luck

Saint Mary School children gathered together to send a good luck message to Saint Mary Alumni Megan Bozak and the Women’s Olympic Hockey team. The children, pre-school through 8th grade dressed in red, white and blue and said a prayer for Bozak and her Olympic teammates. The children then paraded around the gymnasium to Olympic themed music and waved banners and photos of Bozak.

Bozak is a 2005 graduate of Saint Mary School. Mrs. Mary Burke, a current teacher, taught Bozak while she attended St. Mary. Burke spoke during the assembly and told the children that Megan was a straight “A” student, had a great deal of discipline and determination. Principal Raftery told the children Megan is a perfect example of how hard work and determination can help make dreams come true.

The children recorded a video message wishing Bozak and the team good luck. The video is being sent to Bozak before she leaves for Sochi, Russia.
