Anderson to speak at Schaumburg volunteer lunch

Local Purple Heart recipient Bryan Anderson, extensively injured during two tours of duty in Iraq, will be the keynote speaker at Schaumburg’s Volunteer of the Year luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 17, at Chandler’s Chop House, 401 N. Roselle Road in Schaumburg. Nominations for adult, youth and organization volunteers of the year are being sought through March 28. The awards recognize individuals and organizations that have made Schaumburg a better place. The youth category is specifically for junior high and high school students.
