Celebrate Gurnee’s FitNation Gym:

Gurnee Park District’s FitNation Gym hosts a grand opening for the community from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. All who attend can enjoy free access to the fitness floor during the celebration. WXLC-FM 102.3 will have its cash machine in the facility from 10 a.m. to noon. In addition, Steve McMichael, who played on the Super Bowl XX-champion Chicago Bears, will visit and offer autograph opportunities from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free group exercise classes, sports contests, raffles and complimentary refreshments and samples from Coca-Cola and Suzy’s Swirl in Gurnee will be offered during the day. FitNation is offering introductory membership specials starting at $39.99 per month with no initiation fee through Saturday. For information, check fitnationgurnee.com.
