ST. PETER SCHAUMBURG ANNOUNCES NEW PRE-SCHOOL CLASSES

School Adds New Drop-In Program for Pre-School and Kindergarten Students

New Toddler “My Toddler, Jesus & Me” Program Open to Community

SCHAUMBURG, IL, January 27, 2014 – – St. Peter Lutheran School in Schaumburg today announced new pre-school classes and other early childhood programs, beginning August 2014. A new full day pre-school class (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) and a morning class (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.) have been added.

St. Peter's existing full and half day pre-school classes, 7:45 a.m. – 2:15 p.m. and 7:45 a.m. – 11 a.m. will continue to be offered. St. Peter has been offering full day pre-school classes since 1970.

In an effort to help parents and caregivers needing to run errands or attend appointments, St. Peter will add a new drop-in program at its historic Red School House on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. The drop-in program will be available to all families attending St. Peter's morning pre-school and kindergarten classes. Advance sign-up is required, and the program costs $6 per hour.

Open to Schaumburg families and the surrounding community, St. Peter will also premiere a new toddler program, “My Toddler, Jesus & Me.” The program, which will take place every Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. in St. Peter's Red School House, is open to parents, grandparents, babysitters, aunts and uncles with toddlers age 18 months – 3 years old. Cost is $10 per day.
