McHenry County

• Philip J. Motroni, 33, of the 12300 block of Rogers Road, Woodstock; and Amanda C. Graves, 26, of the 100 block of Woodland Court, Carpentersville; each face heroin-related charges after police found the drug and related items inside a Woodstock home on Rogers Road, police announced Monday. Acting on a tip, police from the McHenry County Sheriff's Office conducted the search and said they found 1 gram of heroin and several items of drug paraphernalia. The street value of the drugs was about $100, police said. Motroni and Graves were each charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a hypodermic syringe and needle. Motroni's bail was set at $10,000, while Graves' bail was set at $20,000. They are both scheduled to appear in court Thursday in Woodstock.
