College of Lake County hosts an information session for anyone considering a career in teaching on Thursday, Feb. 20. The session called "Trails to Teaching," is 5:30 to 8 p.m. in Room C005 (C Wing Auditorium), 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake. It will include an overview of teacher preparation programs at CLC, guidelines for transfer, networking with CLC education faculty and other future teachers and a panel discussion with currently practicing teachers from PreK to secondary. Representatives of Illinois four-year transfer colleges and universities will be on hand to answer questions.
