Lake Villa Township holds Winter Ribfest

Lake Villa Township held its annual Winter Ribfest on Saturday at Caboose Park.

The annual event saw area chefs competing in a contest vying for awards in the best sauce and dry ribs, people’s choice and best booth theme categories.

Tony’s Butcher Shop of Grayslake provided the ribs for the contest.

A rib-eating contest was also held to see who could eat the most ribs in three minutes.
