The Lake County regional school board will host a special meeting Tuesday to discuss whether three local school districts should be allowed to leave the Special Education District of Lake County. Officials with Kildeer Countryside District 96, Lincolnshire-Prairie View District 103 and Stevenson High School District 125 want to leave the regional consortium and provide educational services for all of their special-education students. The meeting is set for 7 p.m. in the E-Building at the College of Lake County in Grayslake. It is open to the public.
