Missing Downers Grove man found safe
A 77-year-old Downers Grove man who was last seen on Sunday has been found safe, police said Tuesday night.
The man, Clifford Abbott, had been experiencing memory lapses and was reported missing by his family when he failed to arrive for an appointment at 8:30 a.m. Monday.
According to a news release, Abbott was located out of state, unharmed and in good health on Tuesday.
