Libertyville High School’s Jazz Festival

Jazz musicians from the Oak Grove Middle School in Green Oaks and Highland Middle School in Libertyville attended Tuesday’s Jazz Festival at Libertyville High School.

Around 40 students participated in clinics conducted by Marques Carroll, a professional musician and teacher from Chicago, and Tim Barclay, Libertyville High School’s jazz director, before taking the stage in the Butler Lake Auditorium for afternoon performances.

The Libertyville High School Jazz I and Jazz II bands played following the two middle schools.
