Buffalo Grove Rotary hosts Pizza Fest Jan. 28

Pizza connoisseurs will have an opportunity to sample some of the best Buffalo Grove has to offer when the Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove hosts Pizza Fest from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28 at Buffalo Grove High School, 1100 W Dundee Road.

Diners will be able to try foods from local pizza establishments including Lou Malnati's, Jets, Nino's, Prairie House, Wa-Pa-Ghetti's, Danny's, Domino's and more.

Admission is $2. Each slice of pizza is $2 and any drink or dessert item is $1.

During the benefit, Rotary will be collecting nonperishable food items you bring to help stock up the Wheeling Food Pantry and Kingswood Food Pantry in Buffalo Grove. Buffalo Grove Rotary supports many local charities and community initiatives including hunger relief, safety programs, Special Olympics, park improvements, school programs, and student exchanges. Beyond their local efforts, its members have traveled to global service projects that include providing fresh water in Africa, immunization efforts to eradicate polio in India and development projects for schools in the Guatemalan jungle.
