Body confirmed as that of Geneva man

The body of a man found Tuesday in Bolingbrook was identified as Jeffrey Talley, 50, of Geneva, who was reported missing last November.

The body was found on a vacant lot by a land surveyor near the 1000 block of Windham Parkway in Bolingbrook

Positive identification was confirmed Friday by means of a tattoo comparison and hospital ID bands, the Will County coroner said.

An autopsy performed Friday showed signs of cold exposure, but the final cause of death will be determined at a later date, the coroner said, pending police, autopsy and toxicology reports.

Bolingbrook police are investigating the incident.

Elements Cremation in Willow Springs will be handling funeral arrangements, the coroner said.

Talley had been last seen at 6 p.m. Nov. 10 near Remington Boulevard and Veterans Parkway in Bolingbrook after having been released from Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital.
