The Gurnee Park District hosts it's annual "Frosty Fest" on Friday, Jan. 17, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Bittersweet Golf Course, 875 Almond Road, Gurnee. The free winter family event features a host of activities including: dog sled demonstrations, visits from Frosty the Snowman, horse-drawn carriage rides, snowshoe and cross-country skiing, ice sculpting, a snowman building contest, children's crafts, s'mores, and festive winter games.
