• Zachary B. Mikulski, 22, of the 6N400 block of Tucker Avenue, St. Charles, was charged with resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia and less than 2.5 grams of marijuana, speeding, and improper passing after a traffic stop at 1:59 a.m. Sunday at Empire and Swanberg roads near Campton Hills, according to a sheriff's report. Mikulski refused to get out of his vehicle and deputies found a pipe and grinder after they searched the vehicle, the report said.

• Johnny R. Diaz, 31, of the 1200 block of Robinwood Drive, Elgin, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use after a traffic stop at 1:59 a.m. Thursday at McLean Boulevard and Erie Street near Elgin, according to a sheriff's report. Diaz, who was driving 10 mph below the posted speed limit, refused field sobriety and breath tests, the report said.

• Three Centennial Winchester gold-plated guns, four Civil War-era rifles, an 1856 carbine, four other rifles and one more carbine were stolen between Nov. 5 and Nov. 29 from a residence on the 3N700 block of Route 31 near St. Charles, according to a sheriff's report. The burglary was reported Jan. 7.

• Yolanda Cepada, 19, of the 700 block of Superior Street, Aurora, was charged with felony aggravated battery at 9:40 a.m., Friday at the Kane County Judicial Center, 37W777 Route 38, St. Charles, according to a sheriff's report. Cepada was at the center for a drug test, saw another woman there who was on probation and grabbed her by the hair, punching and kicking her.
