An Illinois appellate court judge has died.

Supreme Court spokesman Joseph R. Tybor says Judge Patrick J. Quinn died Wednesday in his chambers at the First District Appellate Court in Chicago. The cause of the 60-year-old Quinn's death has not been disclosed. An autopsy has been scheduled.
