Find More Family Fun at the 2014 Chicago Travel and Adventure Show

The scuba pool is a heated 15,000-gallon tank; wetsuits, masks, expert instruction and even hair dryers will be provided for anyone who wants to jump in.

This year’s show also features some of the biggest names in travel, including Samantha Brown, Pauline Frommer, and Rick Steves as well as culinary demos, featuring Top Chef favorite, Fabio Viviani and non-stop musical and dance performances representing cultures from around the world. The show takes place at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. It opens Saturday, January 11, from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m., and Sunday, January 12, from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. (The show opens at 9:30 a.m. Saturday for travel professionals.)
