Fun for the Whole Family at Addison Park District's WinterFEST

The Addison Park District invites you to the second annual WinterFEST, Sunday, January 19 at Community Park from Noon -- 3:00 p.m. Admission to this event is free and participants will enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor activities are weather-dependent and may be slightly modified if there is a lack of snow.

Outdoor activities include sledding, snow volleyball, snow golf, a family snowman-building contest, and s'mores roasting station between 12:00 -- 3:00 p.m. Teams of four are invited to sign up for a snow volleyball tournament between 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.

Winter "fashionistas" can enter a crazy hat contest at 2:00 p.m.

Enjoy warm hospitality with friends and family indoors while decorating cookies and participating in the children's craft area. Other concessions are available for purchase. Enjoy a performance by the award-winning Westernettes Baton Corps, Addison Park Dancers and Iron Fist Martial Arts group. Additional entertainment includes BINGO beginning at 1:30, face painting and more kids' activities in the gymnasium at Community Rec. Center featuring an inflatable bounce house, family games and obstacle course.
