Mayor offers preview of Schaumburg’s 2014

Nearly every year Schaumburg experiences changes of the significance most other suburbs wait decades for.

And every January, Mayor Al Larson headlines the Schaumburg Business Association’s monthly Good Morning Schaumburg breakfast to give attendees an early peek at what lies ahead.

Even by Schaumburg’s busy standards, 2014 looks to be a particularly eventful year. With the planning of an entertainment district near the convention center and the construction of tollway interchanges at Meacham and Roselle roads to get people there easier, much change is in store in the months ahead.

By attending Good Morning Schaumburg, you’ll be the first of your neighbors to know what else is on the way.

This month’s breakfast will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14 at Chandler’s Chophouse, 401 N. Roselle Road in the Schaumburg Golf Club’s clubhouse. Admission and breakfast cost $25 for SBA members and $35 per person for the general public.

People can register online at schaumburgbusiness.com or contact the association at (847) 413-1010 or tmikrut@schaumburgbusiness.com.
