Lennon Sisters plan two matinee shows

Longtime fans of “The Lawrence Welk Show” from the 1950s and ’60 will remember the wholesome harmonizing of The Lennon Sisters, a family vocal quartet often dubbed “America’s Sweethearts of Song.” Now based in Branson, Mo., several of the sisters are still performing and set to do two February matinees at the Drury Lane Theatre in Oakbrook Terrace. Kathy and Janet Lennon will be joined by their younger sister, Mimi, who has taken over from retired sisters Dianne (aka Dee Dee) and Peggy.

The Lennon Sisters are set to perform at 1:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 10 and 11, at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane, Oakbrook Terrace. Single tickets are $65 with show-and-meal packages starting at $80. Call (630) 530-0111 or visit drurylane.com for more information.
