Woman dies after fall from truck
A 19-year-old woman who was part of a snow and ice removal crew died Monday after she fell off the work truck and into the street at 22nd Street and Clearwater Drive in Oak Brook.
Oak Brook police said in a news release that the woman was taken by the Oak Brook Fire Department to Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, where she died.
She worked for a company that was contracted to remove snow and ice from a nearby business.
Police said they questioned the driver of the work truck. No charges have been filed.
