Lake Zurich seeking trustee

Lake Zurich is seeking a replacement for Trustee Dana Rzeznik, who recently resigned due to job commitments. Rzeznik, who works for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, had been on the village board since 2009. Interested candidates for the vacancy must be residents of Lake Zurich and may submit a resume and letter of interest to the village manager’s office, 70 E. Main St., Lake Zurich 60047 or email to info@lakezurich.org. All candidates will be reviewed by Mayor Thomas Poynton for consideration and future recommendation to the village board. Candidates should be interested in working on issues such as revitalizing downtown, addressing the potential use of Lake Michigan as a new public water supply, investing in public infrastructure and creating alternative revenue sources.
