Schaumburg Park District will offer free Fitness Unlimited and Club 55 group fitness classes from Jan. 2-8. Land classes will be held at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road, and Meineke Recreation Center, 220 E. Weathersfield Way. Aqua classes will be held at The Water Works, 505 N. Springinsguth Road, and Schaumburg Tennis Plus, 1416 N. Payne Road.

"The free week allows newcomers to try out the wide range of classes offered daily by the park district," said Alyssa Danca, fitness supervisor.

Fitness Unlimited and Club 55 classes help build muscle, strengthen core and burn calories. Participants will meet their fitness needs in over 20 different classes. Fitness Unlimited classes are for ages 14 and older while Club 55 classes are for ages 55 and older.

Program participants are encouraged to bring their own towel.
