Newcomers Club Supports Humanitarian Service Project
This holiday season, the Newcomers Club of Wheaton, Winfield and Warrenville worked with the Humanitarian Service Project to provide gifts for 12 children involved in the organization. The children provided wish lists, and members from the club shopped for and provided items for the children. Gifts were distributed to the families on December 14.
It is the mission of the Humanitarian Service Project to alleviate the pain and suffering that poverty brings to needy seniors and children living in DuPage and Kane Counties, Illinois, without distinction of gender, race, creed, caste, or color. The Club was honored to have the opportunity to serve with this organization.
