Villa Park man faces child porn charges
A Villa Park man was charged with six felony counts of child pornography following an extensive undercover Internet investigation, Wheaton police said Tuesday.
Robert J. Phillips, 29, was arrested and charged Friday, police said in a news release.
Authorities said Phillips was being investigated by police from Wheaton and Villa Park along with officials from the DuPage County Sexual Predator Electronic Exploitation Division.
He was being held Tuesday at the DuPage County jail, with bond set at $75,000.
