Salvation Army live nativity in Norridge Friday and Saturday

The Salvation Army brings the nativity story to life with cast of 175 and live camels, donkeys and sheep Friday and Saturday, Dec. 13 and 14, at The Citadel, 8354 W. Foster Ave., Norridge, just east of O’Hare International Airport.

It will be the Salvation Army’s 18th annual free Come to Bethlehem Tour and Concert. The Citadel has been transformed into live scenes depicting the journey from Caesar’s palace to the stable where Jesus was born. Following each performance is a concert by the Salvation Army Band and singers, featuring a 20-piece ensemble.

The shows are at 6:30 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
