Traffic shift for Route 21/137 project:
Weather permitting, traffic on Route 137 and Route 21 (Milwaukee Avenue) in the Libertyville area will be placed in a new configuration Friday to complete remaining medians on all four legs of the intersection. In this new pattern, traffic on the two roads will be split. Northbound and southbound Milwaukee Avenue traffic will be placed on the new outside lanes from Janas Court to Fire Station Drive. Similarly, westbound and eastbound traffic on Route 137 will be placed on new outside lanes within the project limits. Visit www.libertyville.com/idotproject.
