Lake Zurich students to perform “A Christmas Carol’

Around 100 Lake Zurich Middle School North students make up the cast and crew for their upcoming performance of “A Christmas Carol” at the Hawthorn Woods school.

The students created and built the set under the guidance of tech director and scenic designer Jeff Platt.

Rehearsals, under the direction of Karen Jaffe, have been taking place since mid-September. Performances of the classic Charles Dickens tale will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, and Saturday, Dec. 7.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. The school is at 95 Hubbard Lane. A food drive is being held and $1 will be deducted from the price of a ticket in exchange for nonperishable food items.
