Route 21/137 intersection work:
Work on the intersection of Milwaukee Avenue (Route 21) and Route 137 in Libertyville will move into high gear with night work scheduled for Tuesday. Also on Tuesday, northbound and southbound traffic on Route 21 will be shifted to the new southbound lanes from Janas Court to south of Route 137 to create a work zone in the middle of the intersection. Crews will work two shifts on Wednesday to complete the intersection work — from noon to 10 p.m. and from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday. Visit 2013 construction projects at www.libertyville.com/.
