Nativity scene display:
The Ela Historical Society and Museum is sponsoring a Nativity scene from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at its office, 95 E. Main St., Lake Zurich. Visitors can embrace the spirit of Christmas in the individual Nativity scenes from all over the world. Some are very old, and others new in various shapes and sizes. Anyone with a Nativity scene they’d like to display should call Julie at (847) 540-0151 or (847) 438-2086 and leave a message or by email at ehsm@att.net. Registration forms are available at the society office, which is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on non-holiday Thursdays and at 1 p.m. the third Sunday of the month.
