Body found in Schaumburg vacant lot
A body was found Saturday morning in a vacant lot in Schaumburg, authorities said.
Schaumburg police and firefighter paramedics responded at about 10 a.m. Saturday to a report of a body discovered near Martingale and Old Schaumburg roads, between two ponds east of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District water treatment facility, authorities said.
Cook County sheriff’s police are trying to locate the family of the person whose body was found on the vacant property, which is south of Schaumburg’s Olympic Park soccer fields, authorities confirmed.
