Friday at the Ranch

On the last Friday of the month, hit up Cadillac Ranch for some line dancing lessons at 7:30 p.m., followed by live music throughout the night. Friday drink specials include $2.50 Miller Lite and Coors Light drafts, $4 flavored Svedka vodka, $5 bombs, $5 Red Stag and cola or Jim Beam and Cokes. $5 cover.

Barbakoa’s drink menu

Downers Grove’s modern Latin eatery Barbakoa unveils a new cocktail menu that includes the house margarita — lime juice, organic agave nectar and bourbon barrel aged 100 percent Blue Agave Tequila D’Oro — for $9. Another option: the Spice and Ice Margarita, with Jalapeno Infused Vodka and Ginger Habanero Syrup, for $9. Or the specialty sangrias — Sparkling Cava Sangria, available in passion-ginger or hibiscus, $9 glass or $24 a carafe.
