‘Christmas Thieves’ radio play benefits Elgin PADS

Enjoy “Christmas Thieves: A Small Town Radio Play” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at First Congregational Church, 256 E. Chicago St. in Elgin.

It’s Christmas Eve in America’s heartland, and radio host Bjorn Gundlarrsen is preparing for the telethon performance that will keep his tiny station afloat. Unfortunately, the prize troupe of British actors he’s hired has all fallen ill. With time running out, can the station’s crew save the show? Find out in this comedic Christmas charmer.

Featuring wild accents and live onstage sound effects, this performance is sure to be a fun way to get into the spirit of the holiday season.
