Bears player at Woodland Intermediate

Woodland Intermediate School in Gurnee will welcome Chicago Bear Isaiah Frey during two assemblies at the school Tuesday. Frey’s visit ties into the students’ efforts to raise money for heart disease through the “Football for Heart” partnership between the American Heart Association and the NFL. As part of the partnership, for each thousand dollars raised, the school is eligible to participate in a drawing to win a visit from a Chicago Bears football player. To date, Woodland Intermediate has raised $26,039 and has been recognized as the top money raising school out of 30 participants from the Chicago area.
