Naperville cops investigate report of armed robbery

Two brothers walking home from a Naperville restaurant were robbed at gunpoint this week, police said Friday.

Authorities are looking for any information about the 9:45 p.m. Wednesday holdup in the area of Fort Hill Drive and Three Farms Avenue.

Naperville police Sgt. Lou Cammiso said the victims, 20 and 17, were walking home from a restaurant when six teenagers in a black Saturn pulled up near the street corner and flashed a handgun.

According to police, one of the assailants told the victims to “give us all your stuff.” The robbers fled south on Fort Hill after taking one gym bag containing a cellphone, shoes and some personal papers from one of the victims.

No injuries were reported.

Police identified the victims as brothers and described the robbers as six Hispanic teens, five male and one female.

Cammiso said anyone with information about the robbery should call investigators at (630) 420-6726.
