State of Fox River, upcoming conservation projects subject of talk

South Elgin Parks and Recreation is hosting the Illinois Department of Conservation from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, at the Municipal Annex Building, 1 W. State St., South Elgin.

Streams Project Manager Steve Pescitelli from the Illinois Department of Conservation will discuss the state of the Fox River, upcoming projects and answer any questions attendees may have.

The Fox River provides numerous recreational activities to residents of the Fox Valley from fishing to bird watching.
